The passenger ship Dnipro, owned by PrJSC Ukrainian Danube Shipping Company (UDP), completed the cruise navigation of 2017 on October 27. This was reported by the Press Secretary of the UDP Alain Khodarchenko.
"Initially, it was planned that the Dnieper will make ten seven-day flights before July 6. However, the service on the ship was so popular with tourists that the charterer BigXra Touristik GmbH twice prolonged the navigation of the ship. As a result, the "Dnepr" performed 25 flights, the cruise was carried out by a cruise of 3308 tourists (...) Already in the near future, the crew and specialists of the Fleet Maintenance Base will start repairing the Dnieper, in order to start navigating in 2018", Khodarchenko wrote in Facebook.
According to the spokesperson, the representative of BigXra Touristik GmbH Sanli Eker during the visit to the USP last week highly appreciated the work of the crews of motor ships "Ukraine", "Moldavia" and "Dnipro". At the moment, German partners are considering chartering the Volga motor ship for 2018-2019. Recall that the shipping company has signed an agreement with the Austrian company Donau Touristik on the chartering of the Volga in 2018 as part of navigation for cruises for cyclists. Perhaps, the rest of the cruise season "Volga" will work with BigXra Touristik.
According to the authoritative tourist site holiday.heck.de, passenger motor ships UDP occupy the highest positions in the rating of tourists' reviews. This phenomenon Sanli Ecker explains the design features of the ships, namely the presence of open decks and a stern bar, as well as the level of service crews.
According to Khodarchenko, the ship "Moldavia" will complete navigation on November 3, and the motor ship "Ukraine" will take the delegation of the Conference of Directors of the Danube Shipping Companies on November 2-5.
