The Turkish ship CENK is on fire in Odessa

The Turkish cargo ship that caught fire in the port of Odessa was carrying electric generators.

The vessel belongs to the Turkish ferry company Cenk Shipping RoRo

Containers and trucks are burning

Among the cargo of the Cenk Roro were electric generators. Containers from AKSA, a manufacturer of gas, diesel, and gasoline-powered electric generators and power stations, are visible on the bulk carrier's deck.

Emergency services are localizing the fire and inspecting the damage.

Today, December 12, 2025, negotiations took place in Ashgabat between Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
