The report on the results of navigation was made by Dmitry Barinov and told that in 2016 two ships of the shipping company - "Moldavia" and "Ukraine" were chartered by the German tourist company "Bigstra", which operated on the Passau-Budapest-Passau route. Unlike the previous navigation season, which was extremely unsuccessful for UDP, due to the unexpected bankruptcy of the cruise ship charterer of the German company Niko Tours, the navigation season-2016 was successful and brought UDP earnings of more than 800 thousand euros . Dmitry Barinov also noted the innovations that were introduced in 2016.

- Innovations in navigation-2016 were already apparent at the stage of implementation of permits: the German travel company sold tours through the Internet, television, in supermarkets. The motor ship "Moldova" was also chosen for the shooting of the advertising film of the Sonnenklar TV channel for the largest tour operator FTI Group, whose structural unit is Bigstra, "the head of the board said.

New was and the organization of a food on courts - its cost entered into the freight rate and was carried out on system "all inclusive". In addition to food, tourists were offered free drinks. In addition, they were sold in bars, there was a demand for products in kiosks, a massage service was very popular.

In general, from April to October 2016 in a cruise on the "Moldavia" and "Ukraine" for this period were about 7 thousand people - mostly tourists from Germany. In addition to the main scheduled flights, the ships carried out additional flights because of high demand.

During the press conference, high achievements of crews of motor ships were noted. According to the reviews of tourists on the leading independent tourist portal "HolidayCheck" the ship "Moldavia" received a rating of 97% - the highest among all. In "Biggestra", first released on the Danube cruise market, were very pleased with this indicator, because they did not expect such a high result and so many positive reviews. The trainees received from the IVPU in accordance with the program of rejuvenation of personnel in the shipping company also received high marks for their work.

Upon their return to Izmail, the courts inspected their technical condition, took into account the breakdowns, shortcomings, wishes of tourists and compiled their list. On November 1, a meeting on technical issues was held aboard the "Moldavia", where the priority works for the autumn-winter period were determined. So, the "Moldavia" requires a partial replacement of the wooden coating on the deck, the replacement of the carpet in the restaurant, on the sun deck, the carpet flooring in the corridors, the finishing of the finishing of one of the bathrooms, the repair of furniture in the passenger cabins, and partly in the galley. It is also necessary inter-races preventive repair of engine room mechanisms. Approximately the same amount of work is expected on the ship "Ukraine".

The main result of the activities of "Moldova" and "Ukraine" this year was the agreement on the continuation of cooperation with the company "Bigstra" and for the tourist season of 2017. In addition, in mid-December in Munich, negotiations will be held with representatives of Biggesta about the delivery of the Dnepr motor ship to the lease. To date, the sale of tickets for cruises in 2017 has already been opened and as Dmitry Barinov noted, more than four thousand passes have already been sold, which is 60% more than in the same period of 2015.

Profit shipping in 2016 brought also the passenger ships "Volga" and "Dnepr", which for several months served as floating hotels in the city of Linz.
