Carrying out dredging works guarantees for the state stevedores and private companies operating in the Danube ports, safe passage of vessels across the water area and will contribute to the stable operation of these ports, "Veckagans noted.
The Romanian dredging fleet consists of four vessels - two dredgers and two self-propelled shaland. As part of the contract, the contractor will perform works to clean the bottom of sediments in two Danube ports - Izmail and Reni.
The total estimated volume of soil to be treated is 200 thousand cubic meters, including: on the sections of the water area of the Ismail Sea Port - 156 thousand cubic meters and on the areas of the water area of the Reni seaport - 44 thousand cubic meters.
In the Izmail port work will be carried out at berths Nos. 12-14, 19-22, at the entrance to the ladle 90 kilometers of the river. Danube, in the bucket and at the entrance to the bucket 85 kilometers of river. Danube. In turn, in the port of Reni, dredging will take place in the water area at the entrance to the creek, in the water area at berths Nos. 17-18, 15-16, 8-9 and 3-4.

As reported by UNIAN, the Administration of Seaports of Ukraine (AMPU) signed an agreement with the winner of the tender, which was determined in the electronic public procurement system Prozorro, the Romanian company SC COMPLEX DELTA SRL, to carry out operational dredging in the seaports of Izmail and Reni (Odessa region) for 32 million UAH.

The depths in the raids fluctuate (from shore to the middle of the river) from 2 to 25 meters. The designed capacity of the port is 7.7 million tons. The port of Izmail is located in the water area of the Kilii estuary of the Danube River, 93 km from the Black Sea. The water area of the river from 78 to 96 km is considered to be the water area of the Izmail port, counting from the left bank to the conventional line of the state border of Ukraine, which runs along the Danube channel.
The port can accept ships, the length of which does not exceed 150 meters, the width - 30 meters, the draft - 7 meters. The draft of ships entering the port is limited by the passageways of the Sulinsky Canal and the Rapid Canal on the Ukrainian section of the Danube River.
