The Administration of the seaports of Ukraine has signed an agreement on carrying out operational dredging in the water areas of the seaports of Izmail and Reni with the company SC COMPLEX DELTA SRL from Romania.
Dredging in Izmail and Reni will be performed by a Romanian company
As reported in the AMPU, the Romanians first participated in the Ukrainian dredging tender.
"This indicates the qualitative preparation of the procedure, its transparency and competitive nature ... Dredging will improve the conditions for handling existing cargo flows and will attract new ones, increase ship calls and develop business as a whole," said AMPU head Rayvis Veckagans.
The cost of work is almost 32 million USD . The tender winner will have to remove 200 thousand cubic meters of soil. The company will have to complete the dredging within four months.
