Polish Baltic Shipping Company (PZB SA) was founded on 31 January 1976 under the name State Enterprise Polish Baltic Shipping. Today it is a commercial company, formed as a treasury owned company on 31 December 1992. Today, the company supports regular ferry lines: Gdansk-Nynäshamn, Swinoujscie-Ystad / Copenhagen based on three car and passenger ferries. The company provides high quality services by constantly adapting to the customer's expectations. We perform regular ferry crossings, supporting long-established connections between Poland and Scandinavia. The dominant activity of the company are ferry transports for passengers and cargo on international routes as well as group and individual tourism. An important element of PZB SA is our tourist offer, including family vacations in the most interesting parts of Sweden, Norway, Finland and Denmark, as well as other Baltic countries; transport and accommodation for all sorts of hobbies, including fishing, cycling; business events (conferences, training, team building, etc.) and ferry events combined with shopping in the onboard shops as well as sightseeing tours. Polish Baltic Shipping is also promoting Poland as an attractive holiday destination for Scandinavians by organizing tourist stays and sightseeing in the most famous Polish cities. The Polferries Shipowner's Service Office in Gdansk supports ferry traffic for both individual customers and freight traffic on the Gdansk-Nynäshamn line. Individual customers range from passengers, cars up to coaches. Freight traffic includes truck and cargo transport. The Polferries Shipowner's Service Office in Gdansk also offers a professional passenger service providing tourist information, ticket sales and reservations. Currently, the Gdansk-Nynäshamn line is handled by Wawel ferry which can carry 1,000 passengers at a time (including 511 places in modern cabins). The length of the cargo bay equals 1490 meters and can carry up to 75 trucks with a length of 17 m. In addition to the standard equipment of the ferry it also contains shops, bars, restaurants, cafe also has a conference room / cinema.
