Odyssea Marine, Inc. was organized in 1998 to meet the marine transportation needs of the oil and gas industry in the Gulf of Mexico. In 1998, Odyssea Marine, Inc. purchased North Bank Towing Corporation and in conjunction with other acquisitions offered tugs and towing vessels. At the time it was acquired, North Bank Towing Corporation had been serving the offshore oil and gas industry for over 25 years. Further, the company had worked vessels not only in Mexico, but on the U.S. East coast, South America, Africa, and maintained a continuous presence in Mexico, working there since the late 1970's as Odyssea does today.
