Jo Tankers is a privately owned, fully integrated chemical and product tanker owner and operator. We serve the full range of management services to the group’s ship owning entities (commercial operations, technical management, crewing, finance/back-office). The Company is 100% owned by Johan Odvar Odfjell, 4th generation Odfjell family. Jo Tankers operated the world’s third largest chemical tanker fleet in the 80s and 90s ,and were one of the pioneers in the global trade of chemical shipping. Disposed older tonnage in the previous boom cycle and avoided new purchases/new builds at top-of-the-market prices.

Tradition for handling specialized chemicals and acids, which are the most demanding cargoes which often have the highest and most stable rates. Committed to quality and continuous focus on reliable transportation, safety for the seafarers and high compliance with environmental regulations. Global presence with offices in Norway (HQ), Singapore, the Philippines (crewing), and the US. Approximately 780 employees, of which approximately 700 seafarers.
