DMS Maritime was established in 1997 to provide port and support craft services to the Royal Australian Navy. Since then, we have grown to become Australia’s leading maritime services company with a solid reputation for consistently outstanding, cost effective service delivery to defence, government agencies and the commercial industry. Under fee-for-service and performance-based contracts, we deliver comprehensive maritime and asset management services. As the marine arm of Serco Systems, we provide and vessel operations, maintenance and procurement to: the Royal Australian Navy, under the Fleet Marine Services, Armidale Class Patrol Boat and Typhoon Weapons Systems contracts; the Australian Customs and Border Protection Service, under the Cape Class Patrol Boat and Australian Customs Vessels Bay Class Patrol Boat In-service Support contracts; the Australian Fisheries Management Authority under our vessel caretaking contract; and Australia’s Pacific island neighbours under the Pacific Patrol Boat Contract. Our fleet management, operations and in-service support capabilities are complemented by specialist expertise in logistics management, vessel design and acquisition, electronics and training. With corporate headquarters at Serco Systems in Sydney, and operational bases in Cairns (Qld), Darwin (NT), Rockingham (WA), Western Port (Vic.), Jervis Bay (NSW) and Sydney (NSW), we use our nationwide resources for greatest value and efficiency.
